Amy Millan - Skinny Boy |

I'm listening to a gym class play baseball across the street from my apartment. They're loud and annoying but it reminds me of the nostalgia of middle school. Oh, mandatory gym class, how I loathed you.
One more thing to add to the list of things I hate about Oshawa: the fact that the tap water has macroscopic particlulate matter in it.
Tommorrow I'm helping Tommy move into his bachelor apartment at Yonge & Eglinton. Since meeting and dating Kris a month ago, he has lined up a job in Toronto as a computer programmer and found an apartment to move to from Hamilton. That's skill. We were all thinking of living together but had to get organised with our year long leases/summer classes/jobs. I think it's funny that he was able to pull everything together before any of us.
The lab job at the university fell through. I don't know how it's possible that I didn't even get an interview when it was a lab assistant position open to any major. Hello, I'm majoring in medical laboratory science with a 4.24 GPA. How does that not qualify for immediate hiring? I bet they gave it to some slacker from first year nursing. Everything bad resulting from my education stems from the nurses.
Sigh.
Anyway, the point of that story was that it's completely pointless for me to stay in Oshawa. If I do, it will just mean more crushing of my soul and spirit. I want to live here: http://viewit.ca/vwExpandView.aspx?ViT=8868.
Also, the combined smell of the vinyl shower curtain I just put up in my bathroom and the paint fumes coming from the hallway is giving me a headache.
